External Auditing

This is an examination of the financial statements of the company as to certify that the accounting records of the client are accurate, complete, prepared in accordance to the accounting framework that applies.  The audit also certifies that the accounts present a true and fair view of the client’s financial position.

The audit also serves as tool which might discover weak internal controls or areas of high inherent risk which is valuable information for the business.

The external audit is also required by law in Malta.

 

Assurance Services

These are voluntary services that serve to give more information to shareholders of the company, to increase clarity with the tax authorities and any potential sources of finance such as the banks.  Assurance services also serve to help in the sale of a business as it provides additional information which potential investors desire.
